Chimney Sweeping
When All American Chimney Service comes to your home to sweep your chimney, we start by taking great care to keep your house clean by laying down drop cloths in front of the fireplace and the surrounding area. We guarantee a no-mess chimney sweep and also set up a high-powered vacuum with a HEPA filter to be sure no dust or soot gets into your home from the chimney. Our CSIA-certified chimney sweeps will then begin sweeping your chimney by scrubbing the firebox with hand brushes. We then use brushes, rods, and a whirling porcupine brush attached to a drill to seriously clean your chimney and remove all of the flammable creosote deposits from the inner walls of your chimney.
Chimney Inspection
While All American Chimney Service is sweeping your chimney, we are also working on part of the inspection. We use a closed circuit video camera to be able to have a close-up look of the condition of your inner chimney. All of the footage is recorded, so if we do find any damage, we will be able to show you on the video. After we have checked out the inside of your chimney, we will examine the exterior of your chimney. We will look for any damaged or missing bricks and mortar joints that could lead to water leaks, and if we have access, we will inspect your chimney cap and/or crown. You will receive a written evaluation of the condition of your chimney that includes photos of any problems, if found.
